Waking the bull

This is a short animation I did for Ani 400. The program I used was adobe flash. For my process I pretty much sketched key poses and scanned them into the program. From that point I started to flesh out the animation more.

Bastion at tea time

I wanted to practice some line work and so far I'm pretty happy. In this scene we see Bastion and Vina sharing secrets over tea. These are fictional characters created by me and expect more to come :)

Ovannah character concept

I had this character idea for a while now and decided to flesh her out. So far I named her Ovannah and she has a kind spirit and sweet personality. As for what she does I haven't figured that out yet.

Unikil

So this is the final film to our senior team project Unikil.
After a full years work our hard work has finally paid off. Enjoy!

So this is the final shot in the trailer and probably one of the most important shots so no pressure right? This is a cut away action of the kid jumping across a huge chasm and landing on the edge. The facial expressions haven't been added to the character yet so he doesn't look as scared as he should be.

In this shot we see the boy being sad until his father gives him a soft pat on the head to comfort him. What I find challenging in this shot is the placement of the dad's hand on the boy's head . Also animating the wrist so the skin doesn't stretch too much.

This shot is newly added to our trailer to give emotion for our father character. In this shot he is holding the locket of his deceased wife.
