Plutans colored!!

I've decided to go back and finish filling in the colors for these guys. I love playing around with the different color combinations and I'm trying to avoid the characters being too monochromatic.

My Cousin has asked me to revise a patch design for his mob squad group. Here are two rough passes I did from his ideas.

Here is my sketch process from left to right of Orin. I plan to stick to the original concept of him having wheels on his hands/forearms. So far so good so lets see what happens :)

So this is the final pass for Augustus. I'm very pleased with how it turned out. Genndy Tartakovsky's samurai jack was definitely an inspiration for this piece.

Here is the finished line for Augustus. Outlining the flame effect was a lot more difficult than expected but in the end it was worth it. Now to work on color schemes!

So it's been a while since I posted last and to catch up I wanted to post a character design piece. This is a sketch of my latest character named Augustus. He is a sheut which is Egyptian for shadow. I will be posting more character updates.
